    Hi,

on thursday I finally got my first laptop (see signature). So far, impression is good, the white edges are not bothering me as I got it for the specs not for the looks :) There are lots of things I need to do before I can go on sharing my impressions (such as, getting Office programs).
The thing that I did try, was to use Bluetooth to download images from my cellphone (Sony Ericsson T630) to the laptop. The two nicely recognize each other, yet I am not succeeding in sending the images. If someone here has successfully sent data from cellphone to laptop, I would be extremely grateful for help on this matter.

Have you been able to pair them? If so, you should be able to browse or at least view services available for the phone in the Dell Bluetooth manager. I don't have a Dell near me, so I can't be more specific, sorry.

i've sent pictures from my phone to my gf's computer via bluetooth, and i don't remember it being too hard. Once the two devices recognize eachother, just go in your phone and send the pictures. I have a motorolla v551 and to send the pictures i find the one i want to send, go to the menu and select copy and it sends it to the computer. Im not sure how you do it with the SE T630, but it shouldnt be radically different. Try looking in you phone manual

The laptop offers either dial-up networking or serial port connection with the phone. I tried both.
In dial-up case, the phone says that sending of the image didn't succeed.
When I choose serial port connection, the bluetooth on the phone menu gets inactive (gray) on the menu (when trying to choose "send image" and then "via bluetooth"), and when trying to switch bluetooth off, it also doesn't do that, saying that bluetooth is busy. But how long should I wait? And I couldn't even choose it from the menu.
