Laptop is Dell Inspiron N5040 with Windows 7 x64 (though instead of i3-380M 2.53GHz it has P6200 2.13GHz).

Now the problem is after having installed all(?) the drivers from the support site, there's an entry called PCI Simple Communications Controller in the Device Manager that still needs a driver. Hardware Ids: PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_3B64&SUBSYS_05051028&REV_06

Here's a picture with all the entries in the Device Manager. Maybe someone can tell by that what could be missing there?

Here's what CPU-Z tells about the mainboard:

Here's the link to the driver page for the Inspiron N5040. For Windows 7 64-bit it lists 22 files. That's what I've installed:
    Applications
    -

    Audio
    IDT 92HD87B1 driver

    BIOS
    Inspiron N5040 System BIOS

    Chipset
    Realtek RTS5138 Card Reader

    Communication
    -

    Mouse & Keyboards
    Alps TouchPad

    Network
    Dell Wireless 1701 Bluetooth Driver
    Dell Wireless 1501/1503/1701 802.11b/g/n Driver
    Realtek RTL8105E-VB 10/100 Ethernet Controller

    SATA Drives
    Intel Rapid Storage Technology

    Video
    Intel HD Graphics
With all this info could someone now tell me what I'm missing here? Did I have to install the drivers in certain order? Could Dell actually miss a driver on their site?

Yes, thank you, it was the Intel Management Engine Interface. So to answer my own question then yes, Dell actually misses a driver on their site. But it's not even 1 driver, besides the Intel Management Engine Interface they also don't list the driver for the HM57 chipset.

    What a joke!
