The tech came today to fix my broken slot drive and basically had to take the entire computer apart. I thought everything went ok but now I notice lid movement...it wobbles a little when I gently move the computer back and forth

Is there a simple fix to this or do I need to call Dell again?

This doesn't have the greatest pictures, but this will allow you to get to the hinges and tighten them up.

    Thanks for the help atbnet.

I wish it was as easy as taking the covers off and tightening the screws...I really don't want to mess around with the center control cover off. Since I have no choice though, I will be attempting this today

i really dont see a way of "tightening" the hinges, there is no way to adjust the actual hinge that i can see...

You're right, the tech is coming again(to fix what HE BROKE) and installing a new casing with hinges.

This computer hasn't worked out great so far to be honest...frustrating talking to these people at dell too.

My travel remote never worked so a the first rep I talked to shipped out a XPS 2010 remote as a replacement

I explained the problem to the rep today and he continually told me the travel remote didn't come with my system :err: We literally argued over this for 10-15 minutes while he kept looking for information.
