    Hello guys, I'm a new comer. I'd like to put questions, I asked my uncle to order a Vostro 1700 online. I wonder what accessories are in the box?
    My uncle said I didn't remember anthing about a charging unit to recharge my battery (?) Cz he uses HP9000 so maybe he aint familiar to Dell.
    Does the 1700 ready adapter have charging ability? or I must buy anything separately?

    Assuming you have never bought a laptop,
    every 'new' DELL laptop box would come with :-

    Laptop
    A/c Adapter (thats what recharges the battery/ powers system)
    Software DVD/CDs (Vista / Drivers)
    Manual
    Mine came with Travel remote + EP-630 earphones (1720)
    I think that's abt it

    (EDIT) I thought I had read that Vostros do not come with an OS disc.

    My Vostro 1500 come with : Black Nylon Case, Adapter , RJ-11 cable, Roxio Creator & MyDVD 9.0 De, Microsoft Works 8 CD, Drivers & Untilities Driver DVD ,Drivers & Untilities Driver CD, Application CD, Operating System Window Vista Business 32bit DVD. Total is 6. No Remote and Earbud within pakage. Huge of manuals & guides
