    ...okay, I'm still looking into buying the m1330, but theres just one thing I cant seem to comprehend, the Core 2 Duo processors. I dont really have a full understanding as to what the GHz part does for your computer or the cache part

    I'm into computer programming in college, just started and may be creating more power hungry programs while in the college courses. Can someone help point out to me whats best for me (processor wise)?
    If I pick the lower option is it gonna hurt me in the future, or if I pick the higher option am I gonna benefit from it in the future?

    I would say just choose a mid range processor. Around 2GHz. Save $$$ now and be done with it. The fastest processor available is rarely the one you need/want, certainly true if you do not know why you need it.

    I would go with the Core 2 Duo of course. Are they even still selling the original Core Duo?
