Call Dell and hear if they will replace the screen for you. I would imagine they should cover it.
-
The LCD is bleeding; this happens when the backlight doesn't light the LCD panel evenly. I don't think Dell will cover this as it is a very common flaw in screens.
More details on the issue here: http://www.pchardwarehelp.com/guides/backlight-bleeding.php -
if Dell wouldnt cover it for me..What should i do ? i live far away from Dell company..I live in Viet Nam...hix hix ..How to fix it ?
-
You will have to get a new screen, whether its from Dell or not. There's really no way to fix that problem without a huge amount of effort and risk.

do you think i should write an email for Dell ? i cant send my laptop for Dell support because of the distance .I'm a student , i cant study without laptop.Help me !! what i should do now? I'm in a difficult situation..Help me !!

look
stop this cry for help
it is irritating
just state ur problem as urgent is good enough
and hope someone with experience about this will reply on this thread -
If you feel up to it, they might send you the LCD alone and you could replace it yourself. I don't think it's terribly difficult to do and there are instructions on the dell support site.
I would email them and tell them your situation and they will most likely help you out. It doesn't hurt to try! -

thank you "Ductapemaster" so much, thanks everyone except "surefire"( i dont need ur reply).....Email me when Dell support reply to ur email,Ductapemaster
this is my email :[email protected] -
There's a 1-800 I'm sure you already know about yet refuse to call for some unknown reason....
IF you didn't do anything wrong with your notebook then call and see what Dell will do for you. -
Thanks, but I think you misunderstood what I said. I meant that if I was in your situation, I would email (or call) them. You would need to do it as it is your laptop and you have all the details pertaining to it. Sorry if I led you to believe otherwise.
Email them here: http://support.dell.com/ Just click "Contact Us" on the left navigation pane and it will be self explanatory from there.
Good luck! -
That's just priceless right there. -
Hey "Ductapemaster", can you email Dell on my behalf and ask them when they think they will be shipping out my new laptop? Email me when you get a reply. Thanks!
