    Hello from Uruguay (South America)!!

I'm going to the U.S. next week and I'm interested in buying a Studio 14 laptop but I'm not sure about the i7 processor!

I'm a Computer Engineering student and when not at college I'm online almost all day, watching movies or doing some programming. Would it be a problem with the brand new i7 processor? I mean, is it a lot for my needs? Is heat a problem? Would all-day-on usage cause any damage?

Apart from the processor I'm sure about this:

    1) 13 or 14-Inch display
    2) 4 GB of RAM
    3) 500 GB space
    4) Long battery life (at least 4 hours under normal use)

Also I should say that I need the 3 Year Basic Plan because of international warranty.

If this model is more than what I need, what would you recommend instead? I'd spend $1200 at most.

What about C2D? Are they worth it to what I need?

Sorry for the hurried explanation but I don't have much time to decide!

Thanks and sorry about my english too!

P.S: My MSN is [email protected]. I need to talk to someone! :p

For sure buy a quality laptop cooler.

When you get home also **very important** buy a UPS for the power quality and surges. A Voltage limiting one is best.

    Good luck
