    Help on mini 910

    Bought a new mini 910 came in with ubuntu. For buisness reasons i need to load xp. can;t get past the BSOD with "7b" code. Can anyone help me with this issue.

    What have you done so far? When are you getting this BSOD?

    I'd assume you've got a USB optical drive connected, and are booting off the CD successfully. I'd assume you need to have drivers ready for that system's chipset during the "F6" portion of the setup.

    Have you tried installing through a USB drive? Or are you using a USB optical drive?

    what version of XP are you using? XP Pro?

    Also, what Service Pack is in the installation media? It would be best to install with a cd that has at least SP2 on it.

    A stop 7b can be just about any driver. At what point during the installation does the stop error occur?

    I loaded XP Pro on my mini with no problems at all using the external CD drive plugged into usb.

    At the begin, when it' s loading the drivers, press some times F5 till you hear a sound, maybe that will solve the problem.
