Can someone please help me. I purchased a used Dell Latitude LM notebook on E-bay. When I received it, I could not get in because it was set up with a system username and password. How can I reset this and assign a new "everything" to it? It has Windows 98 on it. Thank you.

If you can prove ownership, Dell will assist you in defeating a bios password. It is a bios password? Or just a windows password? If the password is in windows 98, just select the "cancel" button at logon... it boots to windows.
