I have had a Dell Inspiron B120 for quite a while now and I want to reformat and reinstall Windows XP Professional using a new CD I just bought. What devices are already on my laptop once windows xp is installed. There are several devices such as Microsoft AC Adapter, ACPI Uniprocessor PC, and others that aren't on Dell's driver page for my laptop. I don't want to have reinstalled and then the battery run out or something!

Do the basic devices already come installed once I have installed the XP software like the battery device "Microsoft AC Adapter"??

Yes, XP does have it own drivers. Generally if you have a device that XP does not automatically install drivers for, then the driver is located at support.dell.com which is dell's drivers & download site.
