My dad gave me his old latitude that he used to use for work. I need to install video card drivers but I have no idea what graphics card is in this thing. Is there any way I can find this out without opening the laptop?
If there isn't, can someone explain to me the proper way to open it?

Go to http://support.dell.com/support/top...support_central?c=us&l=en&s=gen&~ck=ln&lnki=0 and enter in the Service Tag on the bottom of your laptop. Click on System Configuration in the left-hand box, and it'll tell you what the configuration is.

Thanks a lot man, this is great i never even knew this existed. Every single driver i need is here. However, i couldnt seem to find what graphics card is in here. I am looking in the system information section and there are a lot of things in here, could you maybe tell me what it would look like?

It should say something like ATI Mobility Radeon X300.

Alright so it doesnt say that anyway, or anything ATI. So i assume its the intel one?

That's what I'd assume then.
