I'm trying to take the palm rest off. Two of the screws are fairly stripped and I can not get them and don't want to try more in risk of getting them stuck there. What is the best way to get out these stripped phillips head screws?

It is one of the screws on the bottom with the deep hole to get to it.

Use the screwdriver again but with as much force as you can, straight down into the screw. This will allow the screw to spin itself back out without stripping it too much more. You can also hammer the screwdriver slightly into the screwhead, creating a new "hole" in the screw for the screwdriver to grip.

Got it. It'd be bad to have a screw permanently stuck in a laptop.
