I ordered a hard drive from Newegg.com and of course I choose the wrong one. I'm thinking that I need a SATA instead of the ATA that I ordered. Here is what I purchased: Seagate Momentus 7200.1 ST910021A 100GB 7200 RPM 8MB Cache ATA-6 Notebook Hard Drive. I'm looking for a similar one to those specs or better if possible, 100GB is fine but if there was something faster it would be cool. I like Seagate because I have had good luck with them in the past. My current stock hard drive is on its last legs, lasted a whole year whoopee, so I need a replacement fast.
I'd really appreciate it if some of you guru's could just confirm what type of hard drive I need and if you have any further suggestions. I'm open to other brands other than Seagate but would really prefer Seagate unless there are any objections. Thanks in advance and Happy Holidays!
Dan
edit: also just to note I need to use NewEgg.com due to the fact that I am having to return this hard drive that I just purchased. Thanks!
