    hello dears,
i want you to help me, i have a problem with dell 1564 model as the ATI has been damaged, All hardware tech shops has told me the the vga is out off service due to overheat issue. my laptop now didn't come with any data on screen or even the external port, inspite this the laptop still working and i hear the windows login sound and can connect to it remotely !

i know that this version has an integrated intel vga,

i have update the bios to unlocked one " unlocked A13 WPH", with auto executable flash on bootable USB , but sure i cant see what's values or edit it :(

my question please, in the modded bios, is there is an option that can let me to make Intel the primary one , or to disable the dedicated vga and work only on the integrated ?

if yes, could you please send me screenshot photos of the new bios as i can follow it to edit bios setting without seeing screen.

also dear @Aeny , i see that you have the same model, so could you give me your feedback

    thank you . .

Thank you all i got the answer form Aeny in bios-mods forum and it was :

As far as I know the Intel Integrated VGA is not connected to anything on the ATI/AMD board so it might as well not exist. There's no switching between the two.

I think PBE is too old to work with the Phoenix bios that was delivered with this laptop, at least I never got it to work correctly.

Yup, answered you there. I might dust off my good old 1564 and double check tomorrow but no promises.
Good luck with your 1564 ;)
