    You can not upgrade GPU on laptops. You can either get it now or never!

    If you originally have an integrated video card, then you are stuck with it.

    If you originally have a video card on a Dell notebook, then it is MODULAR, however, it does not mean it can be upgraded. It means it can be removed physically and it can, potentially but not usually, have a chance to be upgraded, if Dell chooses to put something else in the future 1420/1400's.
