    Help with vostro 1700 harddrive partition

    I want the most space out of my harddrive when i use Gnome Partition Editor to edit the partitions i see alot of them so I deleted most of them. But there was one partition, not big 78mb and in was fat16, that when i deleted it. that partition would not combine with the rest. Like it was its own harddrive.Does anyone know what i am talking about. can i delete it or what? Thanks
