Which processor do you have? There are reports of the 1537 working fine with 8GB.

Oh when i pull the plug out the noise stops.

I think the system is struggling for power.

EDIT: THIS IS IMPORTANT, I PUT MY EAR TO THE HARDDRIVE AND I CLEARLY HEAR THE SOUND. IS THIS A FAULTY HARDDRIVE OR IS THIS NORMAL. Also when its done charging the noise stop.

Btw, i always notice my harddrive a bit noisy. Like you can hear the disc spin or something. I really dont want to send back my laptop because i actually finally finish installing all my software and stuff after a month. Its going to be a pain in the A$$ if i have to get a new harddrive.

Your hard drive is just fine. Don't be a hypochondriac. Mine does it too. Your processor isn't one of the new processors because you didn't choose them when you built it. Also, do you need 6 GB of ram? What do you actually do? Considering you're asking questions, I don't think you'd need the ram in the first place.

Pretty much i want it for gaming lol. Is it the montivina and also is there a way to allocate more ram to a game because burnout paradice only uses 1 gb of ram i would like it to use more so i can make it run faster and i still have a lot of ram left over.

Iam guessing its not because it is a older processor

Adding RAM will not give noticeable gains for gaming. Dont waste your money adding RAM to improve your gaming capability.

No, because the user has no need to. The Operating System will allocate however much memory the program needs to it.
