wow I feel like a idiot. I've been looking, and I can't find out how to display the touch pad icon in the task bar. It use to be there, but I accidentally hid it, and now I can't get it back into my task bar. How do I get it back in my task bar?

Right click on the task bar, select 'Properties', select the 'Notification Area' tab, select 'Customize', where you can specify the behavior of each icon.

Thanks, I did that, and chose to Show the Touch pad. But the icon isn't still appearing on the task bar.

If you go into control panel, and go to Mouse. From there, click the Dell Mousepad settings and click on the picture. It will bring up the menu, on the bottom left there is a box to check show in the tray.
