I hear a faint high pitched noise coming from the right side of my notebook. It's becoming very annoying. I have the ethernet port in use and a wireless mouse installed right next to the ethernet port. I hope these aren't external factors contributing to the noise.

My 1520 doesn't have that at all. Maybe try for a replacement or have a service tech come out and replace the motherboard?
