I used to have temps of about 120 F while surfing the web listening to music etc, now after the A08 Bios update my temps are sitting at 140 F and even a bit higher. Anyone notice this?

At least for some of the recent BIOS update, Dell fixed the fan noise issue that the fan runs less during idling. I did not see a significant increase in my CPU temp after the BIOS update (A07 for Vostro 1400), but this may be related to your issue.
