04/19/2006 05:44:20PM Agent (Soma_01119130): "Clint, the last CD, that is the Windows MCE Reinstall disk, is the same."

04/19/2006 05:44:59PM DJSlakoR: "No it's not. Do you even know what MediaDirect is? It's not Windows Media Center Edition. It's the software which loads if you press the MediaDirect button."

04/19/2006 05:45:05PM Agent (Soma_01119130): "MCE, means Media Center Edition."

04/19/2006 05:45:20PM DJSlakoR: "May I please have another representative."

.... it arrived this morning. Just insist on the part number I used and you'll get what you need (once you find a competent CSR). :)

There is an ISO for that now. There is a link on notebookforums.com Its 512mb zip to 337. I burned it today. Works perfectly, but it turned out that I didn't need it.

I do need Dell Media Experience software which they say is on the application CD that they are sending out.

So if I wipe out every partition on my HD, I'd need the drivers CD, the MCE reinstallation CD, and the MediaDirect reinstallation CD with the part number above? Anything else?

    Thanks.
