    Hitachi hard drive utility to quiet clicking noise..

    I have on my dell E1505 notebook a hitachi hard drive with the model number - HTS721010G9SA00 and it is 100gb..Ive been trying to find the utility on hitachi's website which is suppose to quiet the clicking noise but i cant seem to find it . Does anybody know what this tool is called and the exact link of where to find it and how do you use it ?

    Did you try going into your bios and switching the hard drive to "quiet" mode? Just hit f12 before windows boots up and enter the bios to make. This did the trick for my Hitachi drive. :)

    Yes i tried it but it's still not very quiet..
