I'm starting to wonder about this Inspiron 2200 I purchased 2 years ago now...
About a month ago the keyboard started acting up where I would press one key and have another character show it. It worked this way for a whole bank of keys on the left side. I purchased a new keyboard, but before I could get it installed the problem corrected itself. Perhaps dirt that dislodged itself? Never had this issue with a desktop keyboard.
Now, just yesterday, while the laptop is sitting on a Targus CoolPad on my desk a screw on the bottom of the unit just falls out. Yes, just falls out and lands on the desk.![]()
The laptop has been well taken care of... transported very little, never disassembled. I'm left wondering how the unit would be holding up if I was lugging it around a lot and not treating it gently.
Up until recently with the above 2 events there hasn't been a single issue with this system... which has been great, so I suppose it could be worse.![]()
Hmm, will it last?
