    Hmm, will it last?

I'm starting to wonder about this Inspiron 2200 I purchased 2 years ago now...

About a month ago the keyboard started acting up where I would press one key and have another character show it. It worked this way for a whole bank of keys on the left side. I purchased a new keyboard, but before I could get it installed the problem corrected itself. Perhaps dirt that dislodged itself? Never had this issue with a desktop keyboard.

Now, just yesterday, while the laptop is sitting on a Targus CoolPad on my desk a screw on the bottom of the unit just falls out. Yes, just falls out and lands on the desk.

The laptop has been well taken care of... transported very little, never disassembled. I'm left wondering how the unit would be holding up if I was lugging it around a lot and not treating it gently.

Up until recently with the above 2 events there hasn't been a single issue with this system... which has been great, so I suppose it could be worse. :)
