I ordered mine Saturday morning, and my estimated ship date is 7/26. He ordered his this morning and his estimated ship date is 7/19. We both ordered through the employee program, same discounts. Only differences is in color of notebook, I ordered a 926 Photo Printer (which shipped yesterday), wireless card adapter, and integrated SB Audigy. Wonder how that happened?

Meh, who knows, dell is really good about getting stuff to you earlier than you expect, they just say that so you won't get on them because it hasn't been shipped

i know that you can get your item "expedited" under certain cases. my friend's company has done a lot of business with dell (small business) and he claims he can get a laptop in 2 weeks....but then again he wouldn't have the same type of pricing discounts available like the EPP discounts

I can't remember which thread had it, but i read somewhere that dell has recently cut back their estimated ship time. I believe it was very recently, but i am not sure because i only glanced at the posts.

Sorry i couldn't get you a link to it, but my guess is that that is what happened.
