I checked my work e-mail this morning to find an e-mail from my dell premier rep that I use for ordering company PCs and equipment. Here is the e-mail, edited.

I wonder if this coupon will stack with EPP discounts..
-
The URL isn't live yet as of 9:25AM, but the "Choose from 3 Aggressively Priced Inspirons" are the old 1501 and 1405 Inspirons. Still have hope that the e-mailed $200/$300 Inspiron coupons will stack with the EPP discounts for the new Inspirons.
-
url might be up soon...not up yet though. -
Ack, the URL is http://www.dell.com/epp/youreppsave
And it's still not up yet... -
-
-
meanwhile..i just bought an ebay 15% off (EPP) coupon for $1.49 and it replaces the $200 off dell university offer..so instead of $200 off I get about $350.10 off. that one doesn't stack =(. but it does add on to the 10% and 12% EPP savings for dellcare premium.
$2334 unit price drops to $1,639.48 w/tax + shipped on an Inspiron 1520.
edit: try this url: http://eppcoupons.rjk.com/youreppsave/
it says promotion coming soon. -
correct me if i'm wrong, 200 dollar off a laptop offer is a VERY similar deal. where is the sale?
-
page is UP..."only approved company emails are eligible"....ugh?
-
Alright, confirmed, the $200 coupon stacks with regular EPP discounts.
So the new $200 coupon is like the old $200 Dell University coupons that used to stack. -
So if one were to use the 15% off coupon on ebay...it would override the $200 EPP coupon that they're offering you? I'll stick to the 15% off =).
-
The laptop I ordered on 6/30 is as followed.
1520 w/ Intel® Core 2 Duo T7300 (2.0GHz/800Mhz FSB/4MB cache) , 2GB Shared Dual Channel DDR2 at 667MHz, High Resolution, glossy widescreen, 160GB 7200RPM HDD, 15.4 inch display (1440x900) , 256MB NVIDIA® GeForce® Go 8600M GT, CD / DVD writer (DVD+/-RW Drive) , Integrated Sound Blaster® AudigyHD Software Edition , Intel® 3945 802.11a/g Mini-card , 85Whr Lithium Ion Battery (9 cell) , 3-Year DellCare Plus , Built-in Bluetooth capability (2.0 EDR) , Windows Vista Premium.
All for $1,839.40 after taxes. This included the EPP $292 off discount, the 7% discount for DellCare Plus, and the 12% off for 3 yr At-Home service.
The same laptop (except new one has 160GB 5400RPM HDD) can be had for $1,507.48 after taxes, and this is with the added DellCare Plus CompleteCare 3-yr package.
So it's over $300 savings, except you no longer have the 7200RPM HDD, that's a $175 option now, whereas last week it was cheaper, IIRC. A better deal? I'm not sure. -
Right now I'm looking at:
1520 w/Core 2 Duo T7300 (2.0 GHz/800MHz FSB/4MB cache),
2GB Shared Dual Channel DDR2 at 667MHz,
1440x900 Glossy WS LCD,
160GB 7200RPM HDD,
256MB GeForce Go 8600M GT,
CD / DVD Writer (DVD+/-RW Drive),
High Definition Audio,
Intel Next-Gen Wireless-N Card,
85Whr Lithium Ion Battery (9 cell),
3-Year DellCare Plus,
Built-in Bluetooth Capability (2.0 EDR),
Windows Vista Premium
for $1,593.08 after taxes. This is w/the 15% coupon since I can't get the $200 EPP coupon that you're talking about (and I doubt it stacks w/the 15% coupon).
It is $1,531.96 after taxes if I go with the 5400 RPM HDD because the EPP discounts get bumped down from 15%+7%+12% to 15%+7%+8% (because after the first two discounts, the laptop is below $1600) -
Thanks Grudkin for posting this. I was able to get this coupon sent to my regular e-mail address. Anyone know why the list price is more for the same computer when you configure it through the EPP site vs. the regular dell.com site? The price difference is $135 for what I want. If you don't check you think you're getting a huge savings when it really seems that dell jacks up the price and then gives you a 12% discount. Without the extra $200 off, the EPP price is only about $70 less than the regular price.
-
REPORT: The 200 dollar off IS stackable with the purchased 15% off coupon. I used BOTH coupons, along with the 7% off for the dell care plus, 15 dollars off 200 for electronics and appliances, AND the 12 percent EPP savings on systems 1599+..
Purchased my 1420 today using all those coupons. Will put up specs soon -

Wow thats insane that the 15% is stackable with that new 200 dollar off coupon and everything else. Im looking to get a laptop and I have the 15% off coupon with the EPP discounts since im going through the university program but the thing that sucks that the 200 dollar school discount can't be stacked with the 15%. So I would love to get my hands on this 200 dollar coupon but the only way is that you have to work for a company affilated with dell. My fathers company is affilated with them but he doesnt have a work address so I guess i'll have to try and find the member ID for his company. I guess i'll try and find a way to get it since with that you get a lot of money off the laptop. Very good deal I must say you got there with your laptop.
-
Naa in order to get the 200 off coupon all I needed to do was enter an email address and name on this site http://www.dell.com/epp/youreppsave and the coupon-containing email will follow
BTW my total savings from retail value after tax was $953 dollars -
hmm the first e-mail address I used it gave me an error but I tried a different one and it worked. So thanks and now im looking forward to the massive disscount now

Does anyone know what companies are affiliated with Dell? If someone had a 200 off coupon for dell epp and was willing to send it to me, i would be soooooo appreciative. I missed the 350 off deal and am hating myself. my email is [email protected] if its possible thanks
-
Sorry, pragun. I saw your specs in an earlier post, and you're still getting an awesome deal.
As for me, I canceled my order and reordered. I took the opportunity to upgrade a couple things while I was at it, such as a higher resolution screen and the Intel N wireless card.
Discounts totaled close to $700, and after taxes, the new total is $1,576.32 shipped. Since Dell is back ordered on the 1400x900 glossy screens for the 1520, I upgraded (downgraded?) to the higher resolution 1680x1050 glossy screen. That bumped my shipping date in my favor a few days, woot. -
I tried using my work e-mail addy again and it didn't work (to see if I could get another coupon or two for others), so it appears it's a one-and-done deal per valid e-mail addy.
-
-
So this coupon only applies to Inspiron notebooks and not XPS?
When do the back to school discounts usually start? I wonder if the XPS 1330 will go down anytime soon for back to school promos. -
-
Thanks for this! You saved me $100+ over the $350 coupon I originally used [sans $150 Kiosk coupon].
-
So I already got my laptop with the 15% coupon and the 200 dollar EPP coupon but my friend was also looking for a laptop and I told them I could get them a deal. So I got another 15% coupon and another 200 dollar EPP coupon and I was configuring a laptop for my friend last night and both coupons were working. But I wake up this morning and I wanted to send the laptop specs to my friend and I find out that the coupons are not stacking. I think it has to do with the 200 dollar coupon because when I already have the 15% one applied it gives me a reason at the bottom about why it couldn't be applied... like doesn't meet the not meet eligibility requirements or whatever. So I'm wondering is anyone else having this problem now and if so does that mean overnight dell found out about all this coupons being stacked and got rid of it. If true then it sucks for my friend lol.
-
This 15% coupon, is that the coupon from the Canadian Mystery Deals that were floating around everywhere? Can't you only use those on the Canadian site?
-
um its the 15% coupon that you can find on ebay... thats the only thing I know about it lol.
-
Did you use it on the US site? Does anybody have any input on this coupon? If it's not the Mystery Deal coupon, it's the first I've heard of it.
-
Yea I used it on the US site and its for EPP.
-
the 200 will stack with the 15% IF you use the link in the email for the 200 coupon. i have instructions in a thread i started...first post..look after the "-----------"
http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=139554 -
Does anybody have a link for access to this coupon? Can you receive it in an e-mail, or is it only found on Ebay?
-
15% ebay..$200 off you have to go to that youreppsave or whatever URL and the link you have to use will come in an email. be sure to use a hotmail/yahoo account. those seem to work just fine. gmail, etc don't work.
-
Can anybody confirm if this 15% coupon and the $200 coupon are still stacking? I've heard rumors that Dell ended this, which would be very unfortunate!
-
I went through the link that comes with the 200 dollar coupon and I put the 15% coupon in and it isnt stacking anymore
Could you just see if it works for you to make sure it isnt just me.
-
And if they ended it then thats quite funny because I was up at like 12am last night and it worked fine.
-
ill check the same way i ordered mine but im not forking out $1.49 for another coupon code..so someone send me theirs and trust that i wont use it and ill check for them. pm me.
edit: oops i need the $200 coupon too and the link they sent someone in an email thats attached w/that $200 coupon. -
I don't have the 15% coupon. Or the $200 coupon for that matter, although that's just a matter of time. I currently don't have a source for the 15% coupon though...
-
Just buy a coupon on ebay; it's cheap as ****!
Stacking worked this morning, twice. Go for it before Dell ****s this one up too.
edit: Well, **** it... too late -
ok thanks to ike2187 for giving me his coupon codes to test with... bad news =( it doesn't stack anymore. dell did correct it.
-
what time was that at scooter?
-
~6:15am GMT-6
-
Bummer...guess at least I saved myself $1.49
-
wow so in about 3 and a half hours they got rid of the stacking... grrrrrrrrrrr
-
well people were probably stacking last night (like i was) too...so its been > 3 hrs.
-
Well it worked for him this morning so it hasn't been that long. So yea the moral of this story is don't wait just buy lol. Same thing happend with that 350 dollar coupon.
-
well if you're in the mood for $350 off you'd get about that much off w/the 15%..it'd just replace the $200.
-
The new $200 coupon still stacks with the EPP discounts.
The only thing that doesn't work at the moment, is that the 15% off coupon will not stack with the new $200 coupon.
Hmmm, back to school savings??
