Bought a loaded 1420 for gf, (no confirmation yet!).

Decided to keep that for myself and cancel my xps1330 (1420 was cheaper and had much better config.)

Tried to buy another 1420 for gf, stacking is no go! I am glad I didn't cancel the 1330.

Don't know what I'm going to do now. I want the 1420 that I ordered because of better configuration and I want the 1330 for the wow factor and the build. Decisions, decisions.....

but the fact that the 15% was stacking with the $200 made an amazing deal.

The student $200 off might still stack with the $200 off from the first post. That was also working this morning. It'll be worth it as long as your build isn't very expensive.

both of those are not stackable... so the best deal right now is the 15% EPP and a 50 dollar student discount that I found which is on the dell university site.

wow i hate my life...i woke up early to see if it stacked...and sure enough it did...i left my shopping cart up so i could come home from work and order right away cause i was already late. I get home and have to reset my cart or somethin and when i try to put them in, it doesn't stack. I hate my life. I still have the 15% off which is good for about 300 off, but not good enough!

My company has an EPP program and I'm curious as to two things (before I buy a 15% ebay coupon):

First, would the 15% coupon stack on one of the 4 "aggressively priced" laptops, or would it be worth it to use if I didn't get it from there, but the normal purchase area of the website (not sure which offer it will replace from the below list)?

Second, would the $200 off coupon stack on one of the 4 "aggressively priced" laptops? I'm guessing not based on the description, that it would replace the $289 I'm already getting off on the Inspiron 1520.

I specced out what I'd like and in the "aggressively priced" section (offer 1) it quoted me 1437.92 with the following discounts:
Dell EPP/FSS Customers: Save $289 off select Inspiron systems!
    - $289.00
12% off systems priced $1600 and up with 3/4 yr At-Home service.
    - $193.68

In the regular portion of the website it quoted me 1548.41 with the following discounts:
Dell EPP/FSS Customers: Save $168 off select Inspiron 1520 systems!
    - $168.00
Dell EPP/FSS Customers: 7% off systems with PC-Care Plus Bundle!
    - $132.44
12% off systems priced $1600 and up with 3/4 yr At-Home service.
    - $211.15

*crossing my fingers that I can apply 15% off to the first deal*

...though deep down I know I won't be able to.

in the first deal 15% might replace the $289, that's all...not a huge difference then imo. but..calculate it out.

If the 15% replaces the $289, it's actually worse by a few dollars.

I'd imagine the $200 off replaces the $289 as well, so...while it's not an awful price for the system I configured, it's not as great as I could've had, I guess.
