I did my daily call to the Dell order status line expecting to here "your order is in production and is currently in the build stage" for the 800th time but lo and behold it was in the kitting stage. So I'm going to take that as a very positive step forward. Hopefully this signifies that they got the green lids in. Oh and I placed my order on July 4th.

    Spec:
    1520 Spring Green
    1.5 Ghz C2D
    Glossy 1200x800 w/web cam
    160 GB HD (5400 RPM)
Intel Integrated Graphics Media Accelerator 3100
    9 cell battery
    2 GB RAM

Perhaps their is hope then. I just called I am still in the build stage. I really wanted to get my laptop on time but now I am wondering if I will get it by the 28th at this rate. Yikes. My patience is running thin.... :)

Don't worry. There is hope. Mine is out for delivery as we speak. I should have it in a matter of hours.
