This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Anyone have hot docking/undocking working properly on a D820 with Vista (Ultimate)?

    I always could do this on my old Thinkpad T43 with Windows XP Pro, but on my D820 + Vista Ultimate, it never seems to work properly. I have a 24" Widescreen attached to my dock, and the computer runs fine when docked or undocked, but the screen never "comes back" after hot docking or undocking.

    Can't say that sleep works properly when in the dock either ...
