sorry if this has already been asked, but I tried the search.

    Two Questions:

Is it possible to hot swap the Inspiron 9300's battery?
    - Will the computer continue to run off the AC while it swap it out without an hicups?

Is it possible to insert or remove my Audigy 2 ZS Notebook (PCMCIA) while the computer is running?
    - Does it function like a removeable sound card, or is it treated as permanent hardware by windows?

    Thanks.

    1) Yes, you can swap batteries while on AC. You don't need the battery at all when plugged in.

    2) You can remove it at any time. There should be a little shutdown and remove icon in the system tray that would be best to use before you yank it out.
