I recently received my e1505 in the mail and it was loaded with crap. I erased most of it, but I still have mcafee. Every 10 seconds, the hourglass appears next to the mouse and it seems as though something is loading. It doesnt really effect the computer, but it is annoying. What program is loading every 10 seconds to make the hourglass appear?
    Thanx

We dont know ur computer, or what u have on it, so its tough for anyone here to know whats goin on in ur machine.

The best way to tell that is to open ur task manager (ctrl+alt+del) and watch what process starts taking up cpu %.

reformat. Ask SG. She knows everything 8)

SG = SouthernGirl Check for her how to reformat sticky in the dell forum.

Try a free solution for AntiVirus. There are several listed under "the best free software" thread in the software forum.

Theres no need to reformat the entire drive for a simple cleanup task like that...

If it was bothering me more than backing up would, yes. But I rarely get problems.

Things going on in the background without me telling them to irk me.

    To turn off index:
My computer-->right click on C:drive-->properties-->uncheck "allow Indexing"
