It can save a lot of money but I still want to have a glorious screen and graphics to play with ,
Is it worth to pay for a dedicated one ?

You won't get "glorious screen and graphics" with the built in GPU. It will be just OK and will get you by if all you do is websurf and read emails (at 1280x800). If you want glorious, go with the WSXGA+ and at least the 8400M. Remember the more resolution a monitor has the more data/pixels the GPU has to deal with. The X3100 couldn't really handle it. JMO.

I think the X3100 is fine for 2D graphics, whatever the resolution. It doesn't have serious 3D graphics processing power so do you need 3D gaming capability? The X3100 also gives you more battery time.
