Thinking of purchasing an old Inspiron notebook from the Outlet store. Are the ones using the Pentium processors that much different than the current generation of 15r's when it comes to the chassis?

Also, what are your experiences with purchasing outlook notebooks from Dell?

    Thanks!

Though I have not purchased an Inspiron, I have purchased 2 Latitudes recently from the Outlet, though my E6410 did go back due to some minor issues but I did not want to RMA it to Dell. My Latitude 13 has been going good for 3 months now, no issues.

If you do basic office work, the Pentium is enough. If you want a bit more horsepower, the Core i3 will suffice.

I really like the 15r. I've got 2 with AMD p320 cpus, one with an i3 and one with an i5. All have Radeon 550v discrete graphics.

Great looking, play games well, battery life is so-so. At outlet prices when there's a coupon, they are untouchable for budget gaming laptops. AMD versions are about $350, Intel versions $440. That's after coupon.
current 15% off coupon code 30?R6RK3QL?SLL

Intel versions play games a little better, example, Crysis with AMD defaults to medium, Intels to high. That's at 1366x768.
