I am considering an E1505. Perhaps the base resolution of 1280x800 (without TrueLife). I think I want to avoid gloss. The high rez 1680 screen only comes with TrueLife. Is this the same thing as gloss? I'd like a high rez version without gloss but perhaps that is not possible. Can anyone speak on any of the various screens?

    Thanks

Truelife is Dell's name for gloss. Can't comment on any of the particular screens though, I've never used an E1505.

you have to get gloss with the high res, it doesnt bother me much at all, if I had the option for wsxga+ in matte, I would have gotten it, but the option isnt there, and wsxga+ is the way to go
