I've searched for a good answer but haven't found one so I want to try here. I have an E1505 with the 120gig HDD. I want to burn the Dell Recovery partition to DVD to free up some more disk space. Can this be done, and done correctly so that if I needed to restore my computer it would work just like if it was on the HDD?
I think the people in this forum will understand what I mean, so I'll leave it at that.
    Thanks

you get the sonic software along with your laptop to burn your recovery disks which is usually 2 dvds or 7cds or sumthin like that you can find the software somwhere in the programs menu i guess and after making sure that the burn is successful you can just delete the partition as easy as that......

i made a ghost image of the recovery partition and burnt it as a bootable recovery disk(on a single dvd).
