Hi. I have an order and the status shown "in production". The credit card payment has not come out yet. But the expected shipping date is May 13. I just changed my mind and hope to get another system as soon as possible. I check the cancelling procedure, and it seems I have to pay the restocking fee when my order is "in production". Is that true?
Is there any way I could omit this fee? Thanks.

Answer: Get on the phone ASAP and call order support. They may catch it in time and cancel it for you. Dell will cancel any order they are at a disadvantage like my Vostro V13 I bought for $339 instead of $439 with free shipping.

They will also cancel just about any order that has been delayed. Don't use their website or email, phone them. :)
