    How can I convert and connect a dell laptop screen to VGA to a computer?

    I recall reading about it a long while back, there was a guy on ebay selling an adaptor. But I can't locate that info.

    Does anybody know of doing that?

    Yes, you have to buy an LVDS to VGA/DVI adapter. There are plenty on eBay. Exactly what you need will depend on what screen you have.
