Hello, I purchased a refurbished Dell Inspiron Mini 9 which has a built in web cam but I don't know if they gave me the 0.3MP or the 1.3MP one.
Is there anyway I can find out?

    Hey,

You can check in the Device manager by the 'hardware ID'

    - Right-click My Computer, click Properties, click the Hardware tab, and then click Device Manager.

Find your camera, double click it and locate the hardware id. Once you've got it, search it in google (like you can search this whole process)

Look for the maximum resolution of pictures you can make with it. If it's 640x480 -> 0.3 Mpx, if it's 1280x1024 -> 1.3 Mpx.

Could be because ambient light is low.
