How can I watch TV/cable on my 1210? Using media direct (vista too) with it. What stuff do I need to buy? TV tuners? Do they have them for expresscard slots. Point me in the right direction.

Too bad you cant get live TV over the net.

You will need a TV tuner. There are express card tuners (expensive and rare) and USB (cheap, widely available and better supported). DELL MediaDirect wont support TV viewing/recording capabilities, but don't worry because there are plenty of free and paid software for that (your TV tuner will also come bundled with one).

I had a TV tuner that i used with my Sager 5760 before i returned the laptop. It worked in the express card slot and was made by HP. I ran winxp with it tho and not Vista, so i dont know if they updated the drivers for it. Do a forum search for the HP tv tuner card and see what you come up with. Have a look at my post about it and see if the links take you to a place with updated drivers for vista . I use it now with my XPS 1210 and my 1710 :)
