I am wondering how I can determine exactly what parts my laptop was built with. Is there some type of program for this, does Dell have this info on their site, or do you just have to pick it apart?

    Thanks in advance!

    download powerstrip

    or try this:

    Start
    Right click my computer
    hit properties
    go in the hardware tab
    hit device manager button
hit monitors ( 4 of them show ince you hit it)
hit the plug and play one
then go to the details tab

    it should say Display\XXXXXXXXX

    XXXXXXXXX is your screen
