    Which battery comes standard?

And how much battery life does that give?

That is just the configuration I would like to have. I did not order one yet. From what I've read around the web, a six-cell battery comes standard.

Oh God, it starts at $1500? And that's not even with a T7300, LED display, and 8400M. It'll soar past $2000 with all that. :(

According to the "23 Confessions" on direct2dell.com, Dell is going to start offering a choice of XP, Vista, or Ubuntu on all their products. The guy even went so far as to say that if Steve Jobs "changes his tune on OSX" they'd offer it as well.

Gonna config it with the 8400M, the least memory I can (2GB stick coming ;)), smallest hard drive I can (its still gonna be pretty big), DVD-RW, Black lid, T7300 CPU, and LED screen (if price allows).

its on the dell site now, and the configs and prices are in pure "early adopter rape" mode. The spec i wanted is about $400 more than expected. Time to pass. This only makes the m1210 look even better

Well the m1330 has things like the LED screen that the m1210 never offered, but the price of the m1330 is only about $300 more than the outgoing prices of the m1210. At least, that's what I find in comparison to the before-coupon price of the m1210 I ordered on Friday.

I'd really like to configure it with a 6 cell battery and a 9 cell battery but that option is not available right now, only 4+9 and 9+9. :(
