I went into device manager and it says that I have plug and play monitor displayed. I'm not sure where to check for my monitor model and make. How do I do this?

Alternatively, you could always visit the Dell support site, enter your service tag, and look at your original system configuration. It should list the display, and either the name of the manufacturer, or the part number which could be used to identify who made it.

Or look up the same info on your invoice/packing slip.

    Or...

1.) Right click on your desktop
    2.) Select "Graphic properties"
    3.) Click the "Information" button
    4.) Click the "Notebook" Tab
5.) See what it says under "Serial #"

Question, since it ONLY comes up as "Plug and Play" monitor. Should we install a driver for the LCD?

Also can (Or do we even want) to change it beyond the 60 refresh setting?

no, you don't need a driver for the display

EDIT: forgot to mention that LCDs don't have refresh rates. that's for CRTs
