I've had my Inspiron 1720 for over a year now. And over the past year some stuff has accumilated under the keyboard. I was wondering how I go about getting that junk out. My "s" key isn't responding too well at the moment. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Theres a way to pop out the keys... i kinda rip mine out but there should be a way to actually do it...
so get all the keys out and get a can of compressed air and spray it out.

    i have a inspiron 1520

if you have complete cover ask for replacement. or else remove keyboard and clean with compressor air. use manual it's easy to remove it. i did it once.

I would be interested in knowing the proper way how to pop off the keys. Some of my older Dell's would benefit from the cleanup.

On my 1420, I slowly lift up from the top of the key.
