How do I completely remove Bluetooth drivers from my system?

Hello!

I was trying to re-install the Bluetooth drivers (R140135) on my system (configuration in my signature), and hence I removed all the Bluetooth related devices in the Device Manager. But now when I try to install the drivers, I get this message -

Code:

"Please uninstall current Bluetooth installation before continuing"

I have tried to remove it from where ever I could find it, I renamed the default Windows Vista drivers so that they are not loaded. There is no mention of Bluetooth anywhere now, but the DELL driver file still gives me that error!

How can I install the drivers now? How do I completely remove the previous installation?

Did you restart your laptop after uninstalling your previous driver?

 

Yes, I did.

It's installing now though. I did all I could from the back of my head, removing this, cleaning that, un-installing this, manually deleting that, but I forgot the most basic of places, Programs and Features! Once I un-installed it through there, everything was back to normal.

NOT.

I'm getting this now -

I have the Bluetooth on via that switch, and I've tried pressing Fn+F2 as well, to no avail. Let me check if there's a solution on the Internet.

 

It's working now. And no, this ^^ problem didn't go away after using DELL's patch to activate the Bluetooth, that didn't work.
