    How do I get my bluetooth working?

    Hey

    I have done a system re-start after I got my laptop, But I have now tried putting the driver on for bluetooth, but its not coming up?

    Any ideas.

    XPS 1530 VISTA 32BIT

    Tried installing the driver and it says press fn+f2 but this is not doing anything.

    Is the bluetooth enabled in the BIOS? I don't think I actually had to install drivers for the bluetooth on mine, I could be mistaken though.

    Edit: The M1530 doesn't use the Fn+F2 key combo, it has a switch on the right side of the laptop, near the front. Make sure it is on also.

    I got it.

    Dell does not make it easy.

    It should just auto connect and do everything.

    I had to go into drivers and there was a seperate thing which says win32

    Oh wel got there in the end.

    I am getting really pissed off with this bluetooth.

    I had it installed and saw the icon in the task bar.

    I turned on my cell phone/mobile. and it is not detecting anymore.

    Is there a way of turning bluetooth on or off?

    The switch on the side. Is it alright if I ask what you are trying to do with bluetooth and I might be of more help
