    How do I get tech support for my throttling issues?

    On my Dell Studio 1555, the CPU throttles to 798MHz everytime I go to standby and wake up. It will not let up from that either.
    As far as I know it's a bios issue. Other models have had fixes for this but mine hasn't. Everytime i talk to tech support they act like it's not a problem. Or blame it on the OS..

    what should I do?

    Yeah I know. But you can't get tech support for it.
