I noticed that the m6700 gets really loud. How can I make it quieter, without hindering the temperature or is it even possible? Could external laptop cooling fans work, or not?

When was it last opened and cleaned and/or repasted?

I haven't bothered to open it up since I got it. I got it about a week ago.

Then start by doing a deep cleaning, full teardown, dust the whole chassis, clean the heatsink fins, clean the fan fins, clean the CPU and GPU thermal paste, re-apply new thermal paste, if its still running a bit too hot consider buying new old stock heatsink and fans, given the age of those systems a new heatsink assembly might indeed be needed.

What if you don't have thermal paste? I can't go to any stores and that my credit card doesn't work anymore.

Remove the bottom cover, then remove the fan and make sure that the heatsink fins are all clears, as well as the fan blades.
When you can buy some artic-mx4(more than good on laptops for a low price) do the deeper cleaning and repaste.
