Had a quick look around and found out at http://forum.notebookreview.com/showpost.php?p=1664385&postcount=4 that you can run DSRIRRemv2.exe to do so but I can't seem to find this file. Btw, my system is an XPS M1710.

You need a program like Partition Magic. The partition can be deleted quickly in Windows, but if you want to reclaim that drive space, it needs a third party tool.

yea i second partition magic. very easy to use and will do the work for ya to merge the partitions together.

I second gparted. I have it on a boot cd also so I can help friends and family when they come sniffing around asking for help
