Hello. Well I know this question has been answered many times and I have followed the numerous posts people have been providing on how to check hardware ID's. But the thing is, when i go to

    control panel/device manager/monitors/properties/details/hardware Id

It just says "Default_Monitor." Is that my part number? Am I doing something wrong? Just trying to see what type of screen my 1530 has. Thanks.

Edit. Heh wow, just saw another thread under mine asking the same/similar question.

Don't see who made your screen. If you like it, keep it. If you don't, return it. The manufacturer makes no difference.

Mmm, well I am happy with what I have, but was just wondering if my screen was on the "dimmer" side or if it was in the norm. I had read that some people were having brighter or dimmer screen problems depending on what kind of manufacturer their monitor was produced by.

If it's bright enough for you, then who cares what other people say?
