I'm normally good at figuring this out, but it's not listed under removable programs in Vista. I've installed the synaptics drivers, which are more recent, but why does the quicklaunch dell icon still pop up? What is it under in device manager? It makes no sense...

Nevermind. The synaptics driver recognizes the system is a dell, or the touchpad is a dell, therefore the icon in quicklaunch states dell touchpad. There weren't multipe drivers for the same touchpad as I originally thought.
