I bought a Studio 1555 for $1,173 and used Dell's Preferred Account to pay for it (so in other words it hasn't been paid for yet). Because of a defective screen I set up an exchange. THey just shipped it and it should be here tomorrow. The invoice for the replacement has its own total,
Order Total : $1100.30
Which is $73 cheaper.
So two things here, how will they deal with this? When I send my old one back do they cancel my old invoice and just charge me the new one? Will they transfer any payments I've made already? WILL they know it's supposed to be on the same "pay no interest for 9 months" thing? Will I get it for cheaper now?
OR will they just keep my original loan and just pretend like nothing happened (would be the simplest way)

Most likely it will be the last option.
There are always going to be minor changes due to slight changes in component prices and currency fluctuations. -
How about the 2 year warranty, will it transfer automatically?

Yes it will.
How do exchanges work when using dell preferred account?
